Soo.... Apparently, there have been a lot of break-ins and attempted break-ins in my dad's neighborhood for about a week.

Thing is, I just learned about this tonight when he mentioned it in passing. Yeah.

And then he acted surprised when my eyes got really big. I've been at his house since Wednesday, and have been leaving my computer, house key, etc., at his house while we were at the convention centre.

As should be obvious, this stuff is kind of f*cking important to me. "What's that you say? The house was broken into and they took everything they could carry? Why, that's just great! Now they can get into mom's house and steal their stuff, too! "

I was kinda pissed, but didn't say anything because my imagination was busy showing me what the Hell could have been happening at that very moment. To be honest, I think I actually stopped breathing for a few seconds.

Seriously. If that kind of thing was happening near you, wouldn't you tell the people who were staying with you? You know, so that they would know to bring their important things with them instead of freaking out about what could have very easily happened while they are away?

So yeah. The Nekocon journal will be updated tomorrow, hopefully, after I get back to my mum's house. I'm still a little pissed, so I don't really trust myself to edit it at the moment.
